Here I've laid the first gasket into place. Notice that the gasket isn't properly in place yet. If you assemble this wet the moist surfaces can make it easier to position the gasket and keep them in position until you add the plate. If the gaskets are bent out of shape and don't cooperate, like you'd find on a cold morning, just put them in hot water before assembly. You can also use a heat gun, but be careful not to melt anything.
